Good Evening CFTP Members,
Sorry for the late post. I just walked in the door from Regionals! I hope you all had a chance to enjoy the competition. It was intense and had quite a finish. I hope that one day soon our gym will be ready to join in the festivities of The CrossFit Games! I loved seeing so many of you out there. I am sorry if I was unable to speak to all of you, the judge boss kept us pretty busy. I really had a blast rubbing shoulders with some of the big wigs of CrossFit and to be able to see them at their best.
With the Regionals now behind us it is time to get to work. If you saw those individuals and teams at Regionals you saw how amazing they were at what they do. It takes hard work and dedication to get to that point. We all are capable and we have the coaches and the facility to get to that level. All that is left is time and dedication. We need to rededicate ourselves to getting stronger and faster. We need to push ourselves to that next level. To get us started on that path we will be doing a series of benchmark workouts this next week. This will go on all week long. We will not only be doing these benchmark workouts but also on days that have a shorter WOD (20 minutes) we will be setting new personal records on our lifts. I am really excited about this next week. You all did amazingly on Hero Week! Now it is time to put that same effort into this next week. I will call it “Girl Week”. 🙂
