Happy Father’s Day CFTP,
I first want to start off by wishing all the father’s out there Happy Father’s Day. I hope you all have a wonderful day.
This month is the month of races! Not only all the CFTP team races we have coming up shortly but also all the individual races you all have done and will do in the near future. I have been amazed at how active you all are in the active community. You all are setting PRs and doing things that you never could do before and I am really proud of all of you.
With this in mind I want to invite all of you to come support our Ragnar team this next Friday and Saturday. We have 12 individuals representing CFTP and it would be awesome if you came out to support. I will try and keep you all updated on where we might be throughout the race. This is what it is all about. We work hard in the gym so we can enjoy other activities outside the gym, such as Ragnar and Spartan, etc… This is where we get to show off our fitness.
If you haven’t signed up for any kind of races or never have before I highly recommend it. There are so many out there now. Even if it is just a 5K, it is an opportunity for you to go out and shine and show off all of your hard work. You all are in amazing shape and getting stronger daily. It is time to unleash you out into the world and to bring home those trophies and medals!
One last thing I would like to mention. I am amazed at the dedication of all of you. I can’t believe how many people showed up for our Tuesday and Thursday night Advanced class. It has been amazing. You all have pushed me this past week and I appreciate it. I hope that this class will show you how strong you really are. I have seen weights and movements done by you in these two days this past week that have really caught me off guard. It is amazing what you can do when you push yourself. You are stronger than you think. I wish you could see yourself the way I see you when you come through that door. Get the “I can’ts” out of your mind. As soon as you conquer your demons inside your own mind that will be when your breakthroughs will come through. I like to say that 50% of CrossFit is in the mind. If you think you can’t do it than you can’t but if you have the desire and believe in yourself then it is only a matter of time before you reach your goals. Get your mind right and your body will follow.
