Good Afternoon CFTP!
I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday. This week we’ll keep it nice and short.
First and foremost, SIGN UP FOR THE OPEN! If you haven’t done so yet then do so now. Go to games.crossfit.com and get signed up. We’ll be doing the workouts anyways and you’ll get an awesome free shirt out of it. The Open is a great opportunity for us compete together and a great benchmark each year.
As preparations continue for The Open I have to say I have been very impressed with you all. The workouts are getting more challenging and you all are rising up to meet the challenge. Not only that, I am seeing a fire in all of you. The workouts are getting harder because you all are pushing yourselves harder. I see a more consistent push from each of you in the workouts. On top of that, I have noticed more of you working on your weaknesses before and after classes and you are taking your time to take care of your body. DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE WEEK OF THE OPEN ANNOUNCEMENT TO WORK ON MOVEMENTS YOU KNOW ARE GOING TO BE IN THE OPEN. I.E Muscle ups, Double Unders, C2B Pullups, Box Jumps, Rowing, etc…
With the new format of WODs we are able to have more time to stretch and warmup before and stretch and rollout after. Take advantage of these warm up and cool down times.
One quick announcement for those of you who are in the most recent Dexabody challenge. We will be retesting on March 5th. I will put up the link for the signup when I get it. 4 more weeks! Stay strong. I can’t wait to see your results. We will be starting a new 3 month challenge then… So if you are interested in adding a little more motivation to your health goals. Join us March 5th!
Finally I want to finish with a thank you to all of you. You all inspire me. I love watching your bodies and your whole outlook transform day in and day out. It is so inspiring to watch as you make such huge changes in your life. You all are great leaders and always lead by example. Keep it up.
