Final Thoughts
I had a conversation with a veteran CrossFit The Point member and we talked about the importance of keeping the gym fun and challenging. This member has been doing CrossFit for over 6 years and sometimes things start to get monotonous. While I am always going to try and keep the programming fun and challenging, I think it is very important for you to create challenges that keep you dedicated and having fun.
That could be mean something as simple as a competition with a buddy with who can get the most Bike Calories in 2 minutes or how far can you carry a farmer's carry without dropping the kettlebells or signing up for a race that you have never done before and working towards that. Always seek out challenges that keep you active and excited about coming into the gym.
A few of our fellow members are already doing this! One example is Beverly McCarter has a goal to row 1,000,000 Meters in 2021 and has already hit over 500,000! There is a group of you who have taken on the challenge of "75 Hard" which is craziness but I love watching you all accomplish hard things. Many of you took on the Dexabody Team Challenge and many are currently in the challenge right now.
