Sorry for the lack of a spotlight last week. Traveling got the best of me.

Level Method Promotions

We have come to an end of our Fall Level Method testing and have some promotions to hand out:

So awesome! It is great to see the progress year over year, test over test. For those of you who moved colors since last year, You will get a shirt for free from us! I'll go back to January this year as I got a bit behind this year. I will get them ordered asap. Congratulations on your promotions!

Note: Overall Levels are determined by the athletes weakest movement + 2 levels. For example. I have all Brown+ levels but my rowing is still down in Blue 1. Therefore my overall level is Blue 3. In order for me to move my overall level, I must focus on my weakness and bring it up.

Level Method
What do we use these levels for?

These levels will be used daily by you, the athletes. It gives you feedback about what level you should do day in and day out. In the Chalk it Pro app, you will see little bubbles under the workout. This will be the color of your assessments to let you know for that particular day, you should aim to be in this color or push yourself to the next level. Us trainers are there to help as well but these levels will give you a personalized level each and every day.

Another use is to help us in our yearly Lockdown in house competition.

It is year 10 of our in house competition Lockdown!

What is it?

Every year we have our athletes team up with a partner. This partner is placed into a category

Tier 3 - Seasoned Athletes - High Purple and up
Tier 2 - Middle ground athletes - Blue - Mid Purple
Tier 1 - "The rest of us" - Orange and down

There is a tier for everyone! This is a fun in house competition for us to complete in our regular classes. We will also host a final workout on the final week. This is a 3 week competition we run in October.

More details to come. There is a cost that will be announced next week and a sign up link. Logo and Shirt example will be posted next Sunday.

We have officially opened up registration for our 10th year competition. This competition will bring athletes anywhere from 15-30 different CrossFit gyms across Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado... This is an awesome competition and a great opportunity for you all to have some home field advantage!
